My Textgame Experiences

 This is not my first experience with text adventures as I have played them before and I am also a DnD and warhammer fan. Text adventure games are not my cup of tea, at least not the old ones as I like visuals and when they dive more into an RPG or something of the sorts. This doesn't mean that I didn't find amusement from these games. I visited The Wizard Sniffer, a little bit of Zork, and a little bit of Violet Parchment.

It is initially hard to drag me in as I am a very visuals person but I found the text descriptive enough and charming.

Found these interactions humorous as you can sniff the characters and they sometimes give you comedic reactions like this.

Whilst I like the freedom of choice I do sometimes like a push in the right directions as I often input commands in which you cannot do and got lost a few times, as opposed to other games in which you are free to do as you wish but you can see the actions you can take.

I personally wasn't engaged but that isn't the fault of these games as I believe others can find enjoyment out of them. It is simply not my cup of tea.
